... hi doctorsletmedown "I am not sure what INR is this is what it says:" well, the INR should be around 1.0, say between 0.9 and 1.2, the higher it gets, the more reduced the blood clotting. the reduction in blood clotting may come from medicaments (like aspirin) or from impaired liver function. ... Hi Docs, Second the biopsy recomendation. There is nothing in your results that suggests imminent need for treatment, by the way--all the scores seem consistent with pretty mild liver activity. Still, only a biopsy is accurate at assessing the liver's condition. In my nonprofessional opinion, at any rate. You should feel encouraged, though, that none of these numbers... (4 replies)
