... everyone is different, if you can handle having a bit of the flue you will be fine if your a whiner when your sick then you wont feel like getting off the couch, remember to eat well, drink lots of water, and light exercise ie walking get up and get out !! my hair got thin not bald so i got it cut short, no one noticed, no sores, maybe a cancor on my tongue or two but more... ... hep c is transferred thru blood, so even though you might have been scratched you may not have gotten it, but getting tested is always good. the things I know you don't do with someone with hep c is don't use their toothbrush, or razor, my doctor states that it is a slim chance of getting it thru sex unless, you have open sores. Blood tranfusons, sharing dirty needles, needle sticks, open sores or cuts coming in contact with blood sources, extra rough sex as it would have had to draw blood from both partners and so on. ... ... side effects to treatment are always better than liver cancer. OK folks listen up. The treatment is yucky. I am halfway through (at week 25 now) and have had my share of side effects. But I still think it will be worth it. Listen to your doctor. Anyone out there with Hep C who still drinks alcohol is showing suicidal behavior. All the rashes are the pits, but keep trying... This treatment has knocked me on my behind starting with the rash that continues to flare and leaves huge brown spots where it heals. Bio Aid seems to help reduce the color of the healed sores. ... Lulu If you don't feel sick that's the #1 reason to do the TX NOW!!! Yes, you'll feel like crap doing it but why not do it before ya feel worse??? I had absolutely no symptoms when I started, waited @2 years and figured, hell, get it over with. And now it's over.
