... Don't trust just a visual. Get the blood test. If yours comes up positive then I would get the husband tested also. You can have it for years and years with no outbreaks. Or something so mild you write it off as shaving bumps, jock itch, yeast or vaginal infection. ... (3 replies)

... Hi, I am sorry to hear of your pain. Have you tried any pain medication? Or in your off time try soaking in sea salt baths. Another thing that may help with outbreaks is to wear loose clothing with only 100% cotton underwear, avoid wearing spandex underwear, shorts or swimsuit also as silly as it may sound if your able to wear a skirt with no panties it may help also.
