D Foth, I am wondering if you do have a metal allergy, how do they treat it? I had a hip replacement, was tested preop for metal allergy and was positive to nickel and a new others, so had a ceramic on ceramic. However, there is still metal in the part that goes into the thigh and I have had LOTS of post op pain issues. We are narrowing down the causes, but my question is, if there is/was a reaction to the metal, what can they do anyway? Thanks!
