I'll be having a knee replaced in about three months. I heard about a new device that's supposed to help you get your range of motion back after being discharged from the hospital. It's called KneeRite, so I Googled it and found a website that goes into a lot of detail about it. Has anyone else heard of it? If you have or have used it yourself, how well did it work? I had my orthopedic surgeon, who'll be doing my surgery, and my current physical therapist look at the site and they seem to think that it would be worth trying out. Even though they hadn't seen anything like it before, they both thought that it should accomplish what it claims to do, at least according to the information they read. I know there are lots of people who either have had knees replaced already or plan to, so I'm researching everything out in advance of my surgery because I'm dredding the aftermath. If anyone out there can give me some feedback, Id really appreciate it.

No, this is first I've heard. I'm using the Optiflex 3 CPM, and don't like it. I had knee replacement surgery 2 weeks ago. From what I have read, no conclusions have shown that using the CPM makes a difference in range of motion after 6 weeks. Good luck in your research.
