Knee MRI Results
Sep 29, 2011
I have got my MRI results back for my right knee that I have been having pain on the left side of it or inside of the right knee. I have a proximal patellar tendon mild strain and mild chondromalacia of medial compartment. My family doctor told me to go see an orthopedic specialist due having pain all day even while sitting until at least an hour til I go to bed and then the pain starts shortly after I get up and stays all day. It has been going on for 6 weeks as well. I have been taking 2 naproxen a day since it started, but no help, which is all reasons I was told to see the specialist which I will on Monday. My family doc thinks it may be worse then the MRI report due to all of the pain. Has anyone had this or what do you think the specialist may do like crutches, knee support, or surgery? Any ideas from anyone would help.
