Thank you for the reply. That is what I was hoping to see. It wasn't the bruising colour that was really any issue as it has looked like it had been through a car crash in the hospital. It was the new pain associated with the new bruises on the upper thigh. Treating it like the knee: Ice helps the pain. It has been 26 years since my last knee surgery which was arthroscopic as well. No cartalidge left under knee cap back then so the doctor drilled holes under the knee cap. That scar tissue technique lasted 20 years then bone on bone and then additional bone spurs under the back side on the joint and it just could not bend much, as well crippling pain. Mostly full range of movement restored with TKR. I knew the
Time was right for a new knee. Only 49 but it was time. Can't wait to do bush walks again. Thanks again.
