I had bilateral knee replacement surgery Oct. 15th. It has been a LONG journey of recovery. I am looking for feedback and any helpful input on my physical therapy. I like doing the exercises etc. etc. BUT, at the end, the Physical Therapist has me lay on my belly and she/he bends my knee to my calf. I can NOT stand the pain. It is really embarrassing when there are other patients in the room when I am brought to tears or yell out in pain. Is this necessary? I am ready to quit going. PLEASE HELP!!! :(
That is good news. It is a great feeling when you can do something you had to miss out on before the surgery/recovery. My husband is looking at bilateral TKA in the future. He also had a meniscus tear surgery and swears it made things worse. He did have osteoarthritis already at that time. Did they repair your meniscus or do the partial trim?
