Tried to do to much on Tuesday, such as cleaning all floors, shampooing carpet, mopping tile, etc. Today I was miserable at therapy after being up all night with discomfort and pain. ... rastinate too much. Since I live alone I spent three weeks in a rehab center where they had great PT. I think one would have a terrible time living alone right after surgery. I now try to do my exercises on my own and have joined a fitness club near me so I can ride the bike. I have my own treadmill should I want to use it. ... (6 replies)

... Don't give up! Your surgeon was good, the hardware is good, but rehab isn't easy and has to hurt to help. I got the TKR after meniscus removal, numerous surgeries, a tibial osteotomy, a cartilage transplant, steroid shots, synvisc shots, and a custom brace over nearly 40 years, the last 2 in serious pain.
