... I am almost 5 months post TKR. Swelling minimal. Pre surgery my bend was only 105 degrees. Now it is 112 degrees from 75 right after surgery. I do exercises still 2 hrs a day. It has been a slow, painful process, but I nbow can walk and wear heels with no pain and can almost bike pain free. ... (17 replies)

I can walk four blocks but no matter how careful I am,.both hips hurt for hours after. I can barely get a 90 degree bend without lifting that side's hip... So discouraging. When I had mine done(both knees at the same time)by 9 weeks, I was out and walking as much as I could, going up and down stairs regularly(as practice and exercise)and was still doing some PT to improve my ROM. 2 knees takes a little more PT than 1 knee. If I recall, I was off all pain meds at 8 weeks and just on Tylenol like you. Yeah, it hurt more but I used ice every... (4 replies)
