hello, 1st week of september 2011, i had a brief unprotected insertive anal sex with a guy whom claimed to be hiv negative, also had oral sex with a different man within that week.

Around the last week of September - i felt really tired and off.

2nd week of October - i started to have a flu like symptoms (cough with pleghm and runny nose). Days after I develop low grade fever and was on and off for a week. non itchy rash on my thigh lasted for 2 days, sore throat for 2 days, nausea but no vomiting. I didnt feel or have any swollen lymph nodes though. I felt better toward the end of the October. The only lingering thing unitl about the end of November is a generalized fatigue but particularly on my legs, the feeling of sudden pop or busrt of blood in my veins. It was tolerable at first but it peaked around 2nd week of November where I felt numbers of burst./popping particularly on my legs one night whille lying in my bed.

Now i am ok but still feel light tiredness in the morning and during the day esp when Im standing for awhile.

my question are?

1. how is it unlikely to be infected with hiv for a one time exposure i had assuming the other guy is a poz? Is oral sex a risk?

2. Is hiv rash associated with ARS itchy?

3. Do all hiv symptoms all come and all go at once? Mine was one after another and lasted for 2 months.

4. Ive taken medicine (ibrufropen and tylenol for flu) in the span of those symptoms, do they somehow give rash due to allergy reaction?

5. Do ARS last for more than 6 weeks?

6. If those symptoms are ARS, would fatigue/leg tiredness lingers for awhile after ARS or seroconversion is finished?

Thank you for reading and please give me some insights abt this. I am definitely gonna go for a test after the three months mark but I wanted to hear your thought while I wait.

oral sex is only a theroretical risk
it would be unlikely you got infected by such a breif exposure
but you never know...

2. Is hiv rash associated with ARS itchy?

NO

no
they come on and leave in a few weeks time.

4. Ive taken medicine (ibrufropen and tylenol for flu) in the span of those symptoms, do they somehow give rash due to allergy reaction?

your best bet is exploring it with your doctor

5. Do ARS last for more than 6 weeks?

NO
