Immune Disorders Message Board

Immune Disorders Board Index

Hi - I'm new to this board and thought I'd see if anyone else can relate. 9 years ago I developed some weird jerking in my trunk that eventually got bad enough to make me fall down sometimes. Went to Mayo Clinic and they diagnosed spinal myoclonus with a possible autoimmune etiology, although all my MRI's & tests came back mostly normal. Right before this jerking started I had started on Prozac but stopped it in case that was causing it. Doctors didn't think it did at the time, but now I'm wondering if that was the cause. Anyhow, over the years it got better, although I'd go through times when it would get worse for awhile and then go away again. After a couple years with no problems I have come down with the fatigue again, chest pain, swollen lymph nodes, right leg occasionally gives out on me and feels heavy, and I'll have a little bit of the myoclonus. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what could be causing this. The only thing that really bothers me is the fatigue and weak feeling I get because it really interferes with life. I don't do a lot of things that I used to enjoy just because it's too much work. Thanks for listening!
