Thanks ladies, I am trying not to compare him too much, but part of me worries way too much. :) Deep down I truly believe he is "normal", for lack of a better word, but I just can't stop worrying about autism. My first is autistic, my husband is in the process of setting up seeing a dr about asperger's which we both believe my dh has, so I am so scared. I will love him and cherish him no matter what, but I really don't want to see him struggle like my 4.5 year old does. The general odds of having an autistic child are 1 in 166, but the odds of having a second child with autism are 1 in 10. That puts a big lump in my throat, but I am prepared to handle whatever happens. (i think) Thanks so much for every one of you giving me a general idea of a 6.5 month old's developement. :) I don't know what I would do without this board. So far, Joshua seems to be right on track and that is a great feeling. Please continue to post!! Take care. Oh yeah, Muffintop I am SO scared of him getting teeth too! He has already started chomping down on me and that is no fun. He likes putting pressure on his gums, he has started teething but not full blown yet. It hurts bad enough when he gets me now and he's all gums. Yikes! lol
