... Hi everyone My 5 1/2 month old has been sleeping anywhere from 6-9 hours at night since he was 3 months old. He is a formula baby, unfortunatly I had to quit breastfeeding early due to medication I was on. Suddenly he has been waking up 2-3 times during the night. ... It's a good possibility that shes teething. My son started screaming constantly when he was 2 months old, after a week I figured out it was because he was teething early. Try giving her some baby orajel...see if it helps! (9 replies)

... According to her doc. shes not teething. I've been giving her orajel since she started this screaming phase, and nothing works.....We took her to the ER yesterday and they x-rayed her stomach and they said she has alot of air. But their still sending us to a gastroenterologist (Specialist that deals with intestines) to make sure nothing more is wrong. (9 replies)

... You are an excellent mom absolutely doing the right thing!!!!!!! Don't let ANY of the doctors tonight give you the crazy mom treatment. You know your baby the best, not them, and you know when something is wrong. Force the issue and don't back down. Best of luck. I hope your LO can get some relief soon. (9 replies)
... Yeah, been there, too! One of my twins loved to let out this high pitched scream whenever he was happy or excited. It went over really well in church and in restaurants ;) He is now 13 months and has pretty much outgrown doing it - so hang in there! (2 replies)
... DD has a scream to her too. Something that sounds like she is angry or upset but really she is just happy. I can never take my kids without a ton of attention and the squeal/scream thing adds to it. (2 replies)
