Thanks MCR. Well, my son is teething, but he has never slept through to the next morning. He always wakes to eat. Sometimes he will wake at midnight or 2 a.m. and I give him Tylenol and he goes back to sleep. Only to wake at 4 a.m. for a bottle. And yes, I change the diaper and all that fun stuff. Sometimes his diaper isn't even wet.

Really, his wakings have become a habit. He was up at 4 a.m. this morning and I tried to let him fuss it out. After an hour, I had to give him a bottle. I tried to give him water instead, but he would not go back to sleep.

He is not wet, in pain, etc. I am not looking for a solution per se, I am wondering if anyone else has gone through this with their baby. I just hope he will eventually sleep through.

I have a friend who says her 11 month old always wakes at 5 a.m. She brings him to bed with her at that time and he sleeps with her until 7 or 8 a.m. She doesn't have to feed him, but he still does wake each morning. My son could never sleep in bed with me b/c he would think it is playtime.

So, I thank everyone for trying to give practical advice, and the obvious things like diaper, teeth, etc., but really this isn't something that just started happening. :(
