Re: How many ounces should 7 week old be eating?

This was my greatest struggle when breastfeeding -- how much is enough. I, too, had a fussy baby. I never could find a good answer. In general babies go through growth spurts around 3 wks, 6 wks, 3 mos. and 6 mos. So he might want more during those times. Mostly intake depends on size -- remember their stomachs are about the size of their fist. Good luck!
