Teething problem
Feb 6, 2008
My 5 month old son has been teething for about 2 months now. I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first pearly white tooth. Yesterday I washed my hands and rubbed a finger around on his gum. I was shocked...

I have found one "K9" tooth on the bottom left is begining to poke through, with the sharpest part poking out. I also discovered behind it a molar is right on the verge of breaking through as well.

Is this at all normal? My four other children cut their teeth in a normal manner.

I know I need to take him to the doctor and have them examine it and I will be soon. I just moved so I am still in the process of getting insurance in the new state in which I reside.

Has anyone else had this experiance or know any information on a situation like this? Everything I research gives me nothing close to the answer to my scenerio.

Thanks for your time and response!
