Oh I've been there! Not sure if it's because of the same reason, but as soon as my daughter started teething at approx. 4 months she was like this for quite some time. It seemed the pattern was the worst for the week or so when the tooth was getting ready to pop through and then she'd go back to sleeping pretty well. For us, this lasted for months (sorry!) because she got a lot of teeth in a short period of time. I had no clue what the problem was but she was awake almost every hour on the hour. EVERYONE told us we had to let her cry or she was going to form a pattern and this was going to be how she was, but I disagreed and really thought there had to be a reason. Luckily, I was right and once a tooth popped through, she'd sleep longer. Since she was 9 1/2 months, she has been sleeping from 6-6:30pm until 10ish, having a bottle, and then sleeping until approx. 6-7am each day. She is now 11 months.

One thing I have definitely learned is whatever they are doing now will DEFINITELY change again in a few weeks so hang in there. It's so difficult when you are exhausted - I remember thinking I was going to lose my mind if it kept up! :) Sorry I don't have a ton of information for you, but if it is teething, you will notice a change.

Hang in there and stay sane!!
