... Follow his cues, he won't over eat. Babies this young only eat when they are hungry. He might be going through a growth spurt also. Second, a 3 week old should not be getting cereal. ... It sounds to me like it could be reflux and/or a milk protein allergy or maybe both. Have you tried switching to a soy formula like Isomil? Personally, if they're having you switch formulas initially anyway, I'd try that. Milk protein allergies are very common. My first DD had a milk protein allergy with similar symptoms as you're describing and the Isomil was a miracle worker... (24 replies)
