Re: Frustration

I wouldn't worry too much. If she's hungry, she'll eat! I am going through this same thing with my 18 MO DD. She is sooooo super picky. I feel bad because I am always giving her the same things, but it's because that is all she WILL eat. I asked her pedi about it and he said that as long as she is eating ONE good meal a day and getting at least 16 oz of whole milk (which luckily she does good with that), then that is fine with him. If she just picks at the other two then don't worry. So, I am not going to worry. I can't remember how much she weighed at 14 months old, sorry. But at her 18 month check up she weighed 24 pounds which was right in the 50th percentile. So, apparently her being picky and not eating much isn't hurting her growth. Just try not to stress too much. Do the best you can, and as long as she is gaining some, then you are doing all you can. I wouldn't be alarmed unless the doctors are. Oh and by the way, love your daughter's name. DH and I considered that for our little Ella. :)
