... DS was/is the king of picky eaters. He had a few texture issues -- anything with ground beef, toast -- he'd gag like he had a big hairball. I kept feeding him baby food mac & cheese (stage 3) and try to grind up stuff very very finely. He liked cook green beans and he was hit or miss with mashed potatoes & gravy. He liked canned spagettios -- they slid right down,... (1 replies)
... I got into this routine and it worked very well. I would put my son to bed and then set an alarm for myself for around 2 or 3am and then get him up and feed him. He would be full and then go back to sleep until 8 or 9am. The most important thing with night feedings is not to let them fall asleep in the middle of the feeding (and then try to sneak them back into bed).... (3 replies)

... Hi I just recently weaned my 1 year old, I too was sad but knew I needed to do it mainly cause I figured it would be easier now rather than later, he seemed to be getting more and more dependant on nursing. My ds has never gone to sleep by himself, I had to nurse him to sleep and wait until he was deep asleep. So I knew it would be hard but I needed to wean as my poor body... (7 replies)

She also drinks whole milk from a cup (warmed up only) and she will also eat those gerber graduate fruit puffs. She will also eat a breakfast bar sometimes. I know this is not enough nutrients for her for the... (1 replies)
