... At 4 months I think I did 2 jar feedings a day. Cereal and fruit or just fruit in the morning and then a veggie in the evening. ... Milk is still much more important and should provide the bulk of their nutrition so don't worry if they don't want much of the solids after a milk feed. Until 6 months they don't need anything but the milk. Solids only need to be given if they are still hungry after a milk feed. ... (8 replies)

... i'm sure you are aware that growth spurts are to help breast feeding moms produce more milk, so if you are working and pumping at work, then i would assume you're not producing enough to sustain him anymore. you could try to pump a couple more ounces with each bottle and see if that helps. ... ... pm. I wouldn't dream of starting a cereal just to keep her statisfied. If she's hungry, I feed her. Feeding on demand is a lot easier on their system then scheduled feeding, plus, it has been shown to help reduce childhood obesiety issues, and other food avertions. ... (19 replies)
