... Good for you! The only way cereal can be considered "good" for a baby is because it has formula or BM in it. It's just empty calories, a filler. I have in the last few days been starting to give DS bits of things, he loves his mesh feeder. I put grapes, steamed apples, basically lots of fruits in it, and he's starting to finally enjoy some veggies. At first he hated them.... (7 replies)

... I don't know how much to recommend. With formula I use the largest amount that my little guy might drink and then I let him have whatever he wants out of it. The rest often goes to waste. With breastmilk, though, it would be a shame for it to go to waste. So, I would think you might want to offer him a smaller amount and add more as needed. I do a 4 ounce bottle with my...
