... I just went right to whole milk after 1 year, to see if he would take to it (he had had a couple times of regular-type milk because of no formula), and basically had no problem. So I never bothered mixing much at all; just cold turkey - and in fact, he took to the cold, as well. As for sippies vs. bottles, that was longer, but not much. I found he didn't like the sippies...
