I am currently on the count down for my pregnancytest (results due on 22nd of this month) and I have read and heard a dozen horrible stories regarding IVF - I had to use a surrogate (I had a hysterectomy at the age of 27, I am currently 34) who is an angel that offered me a chance in a lifetime. I used a donor for the eggs (egg donor was 25) and 2 embryo's were placed in the surrogate last week. Her uterus lining was above perfect and the eggs were 8 cell (apparently good) she stayed off her feet solid for the first couple days and I want to hear a good story from someone who had a pregnancy resulting from IVF the first time. I'm tired of hearing all the horrible stories.... I appreciate it and am Thankful to have found this site (finally)!
Thank you in advance to all post in response to some positive feedback.
Chin up, stay positive ---> my sis went to the doc this morning and found out that she's having twins!!! They retrieved 5 eggs and transferred 2 of them, both took!
By the way, when was the transfer done? My sister only had to wait a week for the pregnancytest results. It may just be different at different clinics. Not sure!
