I'm not entirely sure, but I think you may have had what is called a chemical pregnancy. This is when an embryo starts to implant, and this causes a rise in HCG, the hormone you are testing for. But then the embryo "un-implants" and your HCG will start to go down. I had this happen in my first IVF cycle. I started bleeding 13 days after ovulation. I took a home pregnancy test on day 15 and 16 - got a faint line on 15 and no line on 16. When I had my blood test on 16 days past ovulation, it was positive, but not high enough to be a sustaining pregnancy (it was the leftover HCG that was still in my system), and not high enough to show up on a home pregnancy test.

I am very sorry for your losses, and hope you have success in the future.

Raven
