Plur-
I am am also 22 (will be 23 in 6 days, yea!) Anyway, I have been with my husband for 6 years, we have been married for 3 and started to actively TTC about a year after we were married. After a year of trying we spoke with our family doctor who told us to start charting my BBT (Basal Body Temperature) every morning before I get out of bed. I started doing that and every month my temps looked like I had ovulated, you will notice a temperature shift after ovulation. We continued doing that for 6 months then decided to visit an RE (specializes in fertility) and found that I was in fact not ovulating and had a low progesterone level. I guess my point is to first try charting your temp because with you being so young, a fretility specialist probably will not even do anything without that data first. I think you should try this for 6 months or so then if not PG you should consult a fertility specialist. While your OB is a good start, there is so much that they cannot tell you. Now my husband and I are preparing to have our third IUI (intrauterine insemination). Good luck to you!

Jayme
