Hi, I'm new here. :) I'm Jewels, 27 yrs old and have been ttc for almost 2 years. I have endo. The first year we ttc with no luck (except one early miscarriage) and then I stopped ovulating- lots of problems since. My endo pain worsened, I was spotting irregularly and having heavy periods. I had a laparoscopy July 31, 2006 and the doc cauterized endo off ovaries, peritoneum, cul de sac- said I should be good to go. He moved out of country shortly after my surgery.

It has been just over 4 months since my lap and though my pain is somewhat better I have other problems! I have been BLEEDING for 3 months solid. I have STILL not ovulated since my lap (a total of 9 months now annovulatory) and I am having hormone probs- mood swings, breakouts and have gained about 15 + lbs mostly in my waist area. I am so frustrated! My doc told me to wait and see. He tested my thyroid and iron- both were fine (TSH was 2.7). Then I had to wait 7 WEEKS to see a new gyn (there are no REs in this city and docs are backed up). New gyn immediately reccomended I go on BCP (hello I am TTC!!), w/o any testing to find out WHY I am bleeding! I told him no, I want tests done first. Pap is normal and I just had a transvaginal u/s last week. I have another appointment one week from today (mon dec 11). I have been researching like crazy to try to inform myself so I can suggest the next step or agree/disagree with his proposed treatments. I have yet to get CD 3 bloodwork, but with constant bleeding it's a little hard! Most sites reccomend a course of BCPs to regulate the cycles, but just as many sites say that BCP mess with your cycles! :dizzy:

Is it even worth asking for hormone levels (TSH, E2, FSH, LH, etc) if I've been bleeding this long? Some sites say clomid is a good course of action for DUB (dysfunctional uterine bleeding) if the patient desires pg (very much so!!) But will the clomid stop my bleeding?? Is it too soon to ttc after so much blood loss?? Should I ask for provera and then use clomid once things even out a bit? I am so scared of miscarriage again, I have lost faith in my body, I'm afraid I'll just start bleeding again and lose the baby. :(

I need a quick fix now, I am at wit's end, the last few days have been bleeding so heavy day and night I just can't take it anymore, I nearly went to ER yesterday. I am calling the docs office today to see if I can get in sooner cause I can't let this bleeding go any longer. What can I do??? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or help, sorry this is so long!

(BTW, I have been charting for years with TCOYF so I know all about timing, etc, plus I have responsibly used several herbs over the years to help to no avail)
