Hi Nalphee, I can't say that I've been in a similar situation, but I have taken bcp, so I'd like to help if I can. First I wanted to say I think you made the right move switching from OBGYN to RE. Good for you for being proactive! As for the bleeding on Friday, how heavy was it and how long did it last before it turned to just spotting? If it was more than a day, then you could probably consider it AF. You might want to check w/ your dr just to be sure. Good luck at your HSG! I had two, and I have to admit they weren't pleasant at all, but the good news is they are over very quickly. Let us know how it goes.
