10 days after IUI procedure.

Hello. My wife and I just completed our first IUI procedure... We had our first insermination on Sep 4th early in the morning and the doc suggested that we do it again on the 5th.. since my wife had not ovulated on the 4th... My wife did ovulate sometime between Sep 4th and 5th..

Today is Sep 15th and she has had absolutely NO symptoms, no pain or cramps... In the previous cycle, when we were trying to conceive on Clomid, she had cramps, some nausea and vomiting... but this time she has had nothing...

Could you please help explain to me what we should expect between now almost 10 days after ovulation / IUI procedure... and when she gets her next period (hopefully not)...?

How effective is IUI and is there anything we can do to increase the chances of getting pregnant.
