Welcome to the boards Tammy, you will find a lot of support and information with the ladies here.

HPTs are so unpredictable. Do not let a negative (or positive) be the final say because the fact of the matter is that they are not always right. Did you take any type of med for this FET round? If so, that can effect the outcome of the HPT. Many of the HPTs can not detect faint amounts of the hormone that predicts a positive pregnancy so that could account for the negative. You just never know and I have totally heard MANY stories where an HPT was negative and low-and-behold the person was positive. In fact, one person on the boards was prego with twins and took an HPT that came out negative, had her beta that confirmed she was indeed prego. She went home and took two more HPTs and they both still said negative. Go figure!

I know the 2WW is difficult but you only have two more days. I'm not sure what the weather is like by you but if it's nice get outside and go for some nice walks to clear your mind and spirit.

If you don't mind me asking....it sounded like you waited a long time between your fresh cycle and frozen. Is that the case? If so, why?

Jessica:

Thank you for your response I am trying to keep positive. Reading these boards have given me a lot of great infomration to know I am not the only one going through this.

We waited so long because we were very scared to go through another cycle because I got very sick from my first cycle of IVF and was in serious condition on the hosiptal for 2 weeks. RE said it was the worst case of OHSS they had ever seen. After all the emotional roller coasters, DH and I have been very hesitant about trying even a FET cycle. Finally decided it was worth it to give my daughter a little brother or sister.

Hi Tammy had to share my story with you.I had done several IUI's I had no issues the issues lied in DH low sperm count.Anyway after several failed IUI's I took a long break lost 30 pounds I gained from the meds and depression and deceided to give IUI one more shot before doing IVF.Well I dident take an HPT before beta I was to scared but the day before beta I had brown discharge thought AF was here so I cried all day stopped my progesterone and went in the next day for beta knowing its was BFN.SO I get a call a few hours later from my RE personally he said we have a BFP and possibly twins or triplets with such high beta numbers.I had an HCG of 420.I was in shock speechless shacking I just couldent believe it.So that afternoon DH and I deceided to go out and get an HPT for me to take finally we would get a positive HPT and put in our scrapbook.Well the HPT came out negitive so I said I cant believe it they got my beta mixed up.So I went in again for another beta the next day my numbers were 860 so they doubled like they were suppose to and the nurse said to me relax those HPT's are not reliable you are pregnant. So I am currently 24 1/2 weeks pregnant with twin boys....:) Just wanted to share that with you and give you some hope. Also dont give up your time is coming just hang in there.Take care and I wish you all the best hope you get that BFP.

Eva :)
Tammy, welcome to the boards. I haven't had as much time to post much lately, but I always keep up on reading. I had a close friend of mine end up with a very severe case of OHSS after her first round of IVF. 2 days before her beta she went in because she had a huge stomach and she is a size 1 person. That's when they discovered it, and she found out a few days early that she was pregnant, then a week later that it was twins! She was in the hospital for 5 weeks with a draining tube and pg with the twins! Her and the babies made it through and they are 2 years old now, but it was very scary. I have PCOS which makes OHSS more common. My friends experience scared me. I'm sorry you had to go through that. We did our first IVF and I got my BFP with my beta on 10/10 and I'm very anxiously waiting for my ultrasound. I wish you the very best and I will be watching for your results.

Kristina
I was 611 on day 15 and everyone was saying how hight that was. Was your beta on day 14? It's not impossible that the embryo split and identical twins are a brewing......
Yeah, tomorrow is D-Day. I'm a bit nervous...strange huh. I'm nervous that they are going to find that something went wrong and the pregnancy ended, they see something abnormal, etc. Another thing I'm worried about is finding out how many. First and foremost I want healthy baby(ies) but I really want twins. I just do not want to go through this again. I'm worried that while I'm over-the-moon that this finally worked that in a weird way I will be disappointed if it's a singleton. Well, I can't obsess over this....it's out of my hands.

Tammy...how are you holding up! Are you feeling ok?

Jess
I know what you are feeling. I have been having the same thoughts. I am so worried that something will go wrong, miscarriage, ectopic, unhealthy, etc. and I have had to wait so long for my second BETA that it makes me really nervous. It is weird because I have had very little symptoms of being pregnant and I rememebr the first time I got pregnaat in 2005 I had a lot of symptoms and had a lot of morning sickness and so far with this one I have not had hardly anything.

I am sure you will be fine you had great BETA numbers. I wish the best for you and hope you have healthy twins. GOOD LUCK with the ultrasound and can't wait to hear the results. I am sure you will be fine.
