Hello ladies,

It has been forever since I have posted and I don't recognize any names, I am assuming all of my cyber IF friends have graduated to the Pregnancy boards and here I am....still TTC.

I had an appt with a new RE last month for a second opinion....to make a long story short, I had a cancelled IVF cycle last June due to poor response and was told that I would not be a candidate for future IVF cycles based on this response unless we used donor eggs, or did a frozen embryo adoption. We have currently been waiting since July 2008 for an embryo to become available for adoption.

But my broken heart wouldn't mend and I couldn't put my dream to rest so DH and I decided to get a 2nd opinion.

So, we saw a new RE this Jan and he is willing to give us a try. He didn't seem concerned with my poor response to stims....he would tweak my meds.

So, as fate would have it, my AF decided not to show (I am very regular every 25 days). So, they put me on Provera and then I did a day 3 FSH test and it came back at 15 (I am only 33). I have had two other FSH levels come back at 7 so I don't know if the provera is throwing me off b/c it wasn't a true period....it was a Provera period.

Now New RE wants me to do the Clomid Challenge Test......I was too emotionally distraught on Fri to make any decisions so we decided to wait until my next normal cycle and repeat the FSH test and then proceed with the clomid challenge.

If anyone has any words of wisdow that would be greatly appreciated. I am still desperately holding on to our dreams of our own biological child. I just hope my window of opportunity has not passed.

If anyone has any advice on FSH levels that would be helpful too.....

Thanks
Hopeful! I remember you! I did IVF last July and had a chemical. I don't know if you remeber me but from that cycle, I had 9 to freeze. We decided to do a frozen transfer in the fall and put 3 back but none took. We then took a break and just did another frozen cycle, putting another 3 back and recently found out we are having triplets!! (But 2 are much more developed and we've only seen 2 heartbeats so far, so we shall see!)
Anyway, I don't know much about fsh levels or the clomid challenge test but I wanted to wish you some luck and let you know that I remember you!
And, on a side note, provided this pregnancy goes well, we will most likely donate our last 3 embryos or perhaps put them up for adoption so we are more involved. That very well may be the case with other embryo adoptions you are waiting on, so, in time, you may achieve your dream that way too.:)
