I did my first IUI this month with Clomid and using the Ovidrel trigger shot (go to the doc Fri for preg test. Cross your fingers!). My doc said it was supposed to induce O in 12-36 hours, but it seems like it took MUCH longer. Due to my own curosity, I used OPKs following the Ovidrel and IUI. I did the shot on a Wed night, had the IUI Thurs morning, but didn't get positive OPK until Sat and Sun (suggesting O on Sun or Mon), which seems a little late for the shot (but around when I'd typically O naturally). Since I'm not a small girl, I'm wondering if perhaps the dosage wasn't high enough. Are there different doses of the Ovidrel shot? Is it possible that my dosage wasn't high enough? If the IUI didn't work, just trying to think ahead about what might need to be different, or if we just need to keep trying the same protocol, since this was just my first attempt at IUI. Thanks for any thoughts. ~Jess
