... i had them done on the same day.. was in pain from all of the gas for a few days but that's about it. i have a scar in my belly button and two in my pubic region. two becuse they found a large tumor while in there so they had to get it out. but my friend just has about 1/2 inch scar but hair hides it. ... Michele, I had my lap and hsg done on the same day. I didn't even know until afterwards that they ran the dye through my tubes. It really wasn't so bad. I was sore for a few days and you have air that is trapped from when they pump your stomach up. I have a small scar right underneath my belly button. You can barely see it. I hope this helps! ... Hi. Has anyone had a lap and HSG done during the same day? I've heard you can have a lap done and then have the HSG done too while your still under anesthesia. ... The only things the military wont pay for are things like IUI and IVF. Even those can get paid for if you happen to be at a base that does those. There are a few but I cant remember them. ... Dear Iloverich, I had a hyterosalpingogram before my last laporscopy. For me, it was extremely painful. I was told to take IBU Profin beforehand, but it did not help.
