Hi everyone, newbie here... my ear problem has gotten so annoying that I've finally given up and decided to look for help. I hope someone can help! :(

So it's been maybe a year or so that I've been getting this crackling sound in my left ear whenever I watch a video on the computer. I've noticed that it only happens when I am doing that. (although some videos don't produce as much crackling as others) When I listen to music on the computer... it doesn't happen which strikes me as very strange. I'm thinking it might have something to do with frequencies??? I can't really explain the sound... but I would say it sounds kind of like popcorn popping...

=X i don't understand what may be wrong with me...
can anyone enlighten me?
both these posts are describing myoclonus, of the middlew ear. you are having spasms of the middle ear tendons from sound......very annoying.
