... Its the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queens Square, near Euston Station. There is a neuro-otology department there, with several consultants. I got an appointment there within 3 weeks of asking my gp for a referral. They were great, very reassuring. (17 replies)

... i have this ... i achieved 2 days of clear headness last week by simply taking something my homeopath gave me ... named KALI biCH. one tablet a day, first i felt soooooooo bad but apprently this is a good sign. then everything started seeming real again ... strange . ... Depends what it is - as in whether it can treated - but most inner ear stuff can be treated in some way yes - there are a host of conditions you see... Seek a neurotologist or a reputable ENT. xxx (17 replies)

... Cant quite remember your diagnosis soupy head??? VRT = Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy. IF its inner ear dysfunction you have from BPPv/labyrinthitis - not unusual to have this for 3 years - so never give up - VRT and support and time is what will get you through. The "brain fog" will go with the other symptoms once your brain "compensates". xxx (17 replies)

At first I thought it meant I was just getting old but now I know it has to do with the ear stuff. My field is American Sign Language interpreting and believe me I am having serious doubts about my future because this crap makes it incredibly hard to process... (17 replies)
... This is definately real. Thats how I feel most of the time. So spaced out that it scares me. Things don't seem real...I feel like I'm walking round in a dream world. I just had a bad bout of allergies and that has made me feel even worse. (17 replies)
