... out of bed and my docs know that. They are worried about the extra filtration of these meds, but I don't really have any other choice. I thought about having a fentanyl pump implanted into my spine, but I've just heard so many bad things about them going wrong. I'm not in full blown failure yet, because I would be dead. ... ... Ahh, there yarr, but.. ACK!!! That totally sucks! I'm truly sorry about your pain you're in. Normally, I would say to have half removed, but in your case, I'd probably go for the complete nephrectomy. That pain sounds bad and you must have more of a chance of curing the pain problem by going the whole nine yards with this. You will be in my prayers. Yep, twas good news from... (3 replies)

... Hi is scheduled for the first Friday in April. The countdown is on!!! I'm still not crazy about having an epidural, but if it takes care of the pain, (it should be filled with either Fentanyl or Morphine) on top of the PCA pump, (which is filled with Fentanyl) then who cares...I know I won't!!! ... Hi Poppajoe, :wave: I've done everything in the past for relief...from surgeries, to nerve blocks, to a tens unit, and now on potent narcotics. They are about to implant a pain pump (either filled with morphine or fentanyl - hopefully fentanyl because morphine does not even touch the pain). By the way, I'm in pain management An expert??? Probably as much as a patient can... (98 replies)
