Lasik Eye Surgery Message Board

Lasik Eye Surgery Board Index

Forgot about this thread - I had my surgery 8 months ago. I ended up opting for the cheaper, microkeratome version of the procedure.

Vision is very good. Dryness seemed to mostly go away, except for, for some reason my eyes are dry at night (i.e. when I'm sleeping). I also have developed some floaters that I see sometimes when I'm outside and it's sunny, or even overcast (never see them indoors). Do the floaters have anything to do with me not getting the bladeless version of the surgery? Most doctors say they come from aging, and the truth is that I guess I'll never know.
