Episcleritis

Hello
I am 30 Years ,, and i suupose to do the lasik next week..
I have episcleritis for 3 Yers... it comes and go.. redness in my eyes..
when i put drops -- its ok..
its sterted when i have started to wear contucts.. and since then it comes almost only when i am wearing them.

my question is - can i do the lasik? my dodctor at the lasik center said that i can do it as long as i dont have it on day of Lasik..
i really appricate you help here..
