Lasik Eye Surgery Board Index

The obvious options are spectacles and contact lenses, which will usually give perfectly good results without any risk of permanent problems - anything goes wrong you can just remove them again. (Barring the tiny risk of a nasty eye infection, I suppose.)

If you want lens-free vision, there are the laser variants (LASIK/Epi-LASIK/LASEK), the pre-laser variants (PRK/RK?) and two forms of implanted lens - intra-ocular lens (essentially a contact lens, but inserted permanently inside the eye) and refractive lens replacement (replacing your own lens with a new, corrected one) as done for cataracts.
