... foggy vision in my right eye, at all distances. I had my surgeon examine me two days ago and he says that the problem is being caused by healing haze underneath the right flap. I also have some healing haze under the left flap but it is not as bad as the right. ... (18 replies)

... The day after, I Went to the doctor again, as a ''follow up'' visit, and he said my Eyes were healing fine, and that I should have more patiance Before my Eyes heal completly. ... (6 replies)

... The thing is the laser eye surgeon's office made an error - my eye was never +300. It was always around +150 or so in the left eye. They miscalculated the prescription. This is why I highly recommend getting a very good optometrist to spend some time and provide you with an accurate prescription. Yes, I am not on steroids - they took me off of steroids completely at the... (26 replies)
... Hi There, I;m only 3 weeks post op but experiencing the exact same as you and also wondering how long it takes to settle, dont get me wrong I haven't used glasses since the op but that blur in my right eye is annoying, it would be nice to know how long it takes to settle but it sounds like we're all different in the time it takes, basically I'm 63 and experiencing the same... ... I am almost 5 months post LASIK and will be going to see my optometrist later this week. Pre-op, I was: OD: S-6.50 C+0.75 A 108 OS: S-7.00 C+1.50 A 066 During my post-op follow ups, they say I am at 20/20 now. In reading a number of posts here and other's experiences, I know it may be to premature to say that it has been a huge success since I still seem to be... (4 replies)

... My goodness! Sounded like your doctor needs a course in chair-side ettiquette. As a patient, I would be livid to hear that the surgeon did something without my consent. It is both unethical and unprofessional. You as a consumer is paying for the service you want, not what he wants. If deliberate undercorrection was his general practice, he needs to make it known to the... (31 replies)
... That is horrible! Sorry to hear about your problem. Something doesn't sound right to me. No doctor is gonna intentionally under/over-correct one eye without telling you. This was given to me as an option which is "monovision". I had to sign a document stating I wanted both eyes treated the same for distance. Sounds to me like the doctor already knows your eye is... ... to have clear vision. So, I would encourage you to keep your spirits up, keep using the eye drops and hang in there. This is a much, much longer healing process than they lead you to believe. I am just starting to see my vision clear up. It is somewhat frustrating because I was hoping for a quick fix. ... (8 replies)
... Everything is blurry and ghosting is prominent. My doc says there is some hazing but seems concerned about how it's healing so far. The surgeon says to "Call if I can't see in 3 weeks" while his nurse said "you should have been able to drive at day 5. ... (0 replies)

... Any update so far? (11 replies)
... Been a while but here is an update. Some interesting developments: - at 8 weeks I was 20:20 in my left eye and at 12 weeks I was 20:15. I ended up about a half diopter near sighted in that eye which I am pleased with. At my age a little near sighted ness in one eye is kind of handy and anything withing a room I am standing in is very clear. Maybe if I were a bird watcher... (11 replies)

... After my surgery it took about 3 weeks for the haze to clear completely. It was probably the worst 3 weeks of my life. I know exactly how you must be feeling. ... (4 replies)
... Update: My vision has improved. I'm seeing 20/20. I still have glaring at night when I drive, but it is better. I still continue to have problems with my right eye. At times it will seem fine with just a bit of blurriness and then the next moment I still have a haze over it (like a dirty contact or a piece of wax paper covering it). I did try Restasis, unsure if it really... (8 replies)

... Thanks for that.....My vision actually is improving somewhat (blurriness/haze) however I am using glasses because I am undercorrected......Did you use glasses during the 1st months when your vision wasn't too great???? Wonder if this would slow down the healing.....I'll probably be getting an enhancement in 3 months (hopefully) if my eyesight does not improve to at least how... (6 replies)
