... I would suggest that you go check out a few other places that do the surgery to get some other opinions. The only reason that I can see you getting the surgery is to correct for the astigmatism since your sight is actually pretty good. But, I don't know how high your astigmatism is. ... (8 replies)

... Hey there Brown Eyes! Don't worry too much about getting PRK. Better to be safe than sorry. My corneas were thick enough but my astigmatism is what forced the PRK. PRK is actaully a safer procedure because they do no cutting of a flap. There is not risk of flap errors or tearing corneas. ... (25 replies)
