... Hi everyone! I had my one month post op visit today and I have a few questions: The doctor said my flap looks beautiful and my vision is perfect (20/20.) Just wondering how long is it actually a "flap"? Is it always a flap or does it eventually heal to the point where it's no longer referred to as a flap? This is probably a stupid question but I think I remember reading... (7 replies)

... Tikiroom32, Any update on the blurriness? Just to share my experiences, I'm 4-day post-op. At my 1-day post-op checkup, I could see 20/20 left and right eye, and even partial 20/15. However, everything is hazy and blurry. Definitely not as crisp as pre-op or with my contacts. Distance vision is definitely not as good as with my contacts. Everybody in my family could see the... ... Hey Skylar, I'm glad to hear things are going well. Your experience sounds very similar to mine. I wouldn't worry too much about the 20/40 vision, the halos, or the blurriness close-up right now. I was the same way after surgery. I'm now a little over 5 weeks post-op. The halos I was seeing around the lights are now gone. For the first few weeks after surgery, I was... (36 replies)

... Just had my one month post op exam yesterday, and each eye was 20/30 and together 20/25, so not much better than the last time I went. Things just aren't crisp...a little blurry.
