... I'm 5 weeks post op and at the one month check, my vision was 20/20 with both eyes working together (and mine were done for monovision). However, I am still dealing with wild fluctuations in vision throughout the day. Some days I wake up and it's sharp straight away and then it fades. Other days, it sharpens in the afternoon then fades towards the late evening. I just make... (5 replies)
... My 1 week post op was at 20/80 left and 20/40 right. My left eye was worse because my contact fell off(PRK patient) and it hurt so much I used too much of those numbing drops which caused a lot of haze. At my 1 month post op my left eye was at 20/25 and right 20/20, I'm just waiting for my left eye to catch up because even though the difference isn't too much its still messing... (5 replies)
... My vision is unchanged from 1 week ago. My doctor said that my left eye is undercorrected and will not likely get a lot better without another surgery. I keep reading online that people say to be patient, that it will get better. Maybe they didn't have so far to go in getting better. ... (5 replies)
... Interesting. It really should not matter. The R. will take longer to heal but on the plus side you do not have a 'flap'. I was reading that the Air Force will allow PRK but not LASIK because of the flap. Now, as to whether the surgeon should have made that decision... ... (2 replies)

... Well i'm not positive, but I was reading about the retina, and I guess the pressure that is applied to the eye when they first have the vaccuum on the eye to do lasik (then things go black for a few minutes when this ring is on the eye), can cause pressure on the retina in the back of the eye. Not sure if this is fully correct, but I believe this is what I read. That might be... (3 replies)

... till somewhat dilated the next morning still. I could see fine by then, but the pupils still weren't back to normal. They have to dilate them more to get a good reading for your pupil size. ... (5 replies)
... Your eyes need time to heal-I wouldn't be too worried yet. Is the blurriness so much that you can't perform basic things like driving or caring for yourself? If that is the case, I would call my doctor. However, I had Lasik in 10/07 and had blurriness with reading/computer use for a few weeks. It improves with time and should stabilize within a few months. Also, your eyes may... (2 replies)
