... I only had to wear it for the first night. It was taped on. The surgeon checked the cornea the next day and that was it. He said the cornea heals very quickly and he just had to make sure the cornea stayed down the first night. ... K instead of lasik. Yes the recovery was a few days longer than lasik but the top layer of my eyes grew back in a matter of days. I didn't have to deal with an eye shield for a month after surgery. ... (8 replies)
... wearing contacts. I think all the little annoyances with contacts will help me deal with some of the annoyances after lasik. Some blurred vision, some halos in night driving, some dry eye. I have all of that now with contacts! I'm in Chicago, winters can be dry...but we have plenty of humidity all spring and summer. ... (11 replies)
... Your only job is to stare at this blinking orange light. There are no bright lights even when lasering your corneas. Don't compare a laser pointer shot in your eye to a Lasik laser. Totally different. ... (12 replies)
