... gery and can't really relate to you in that respect, I can relate to you in the bluriness, or one eye feeling different from the other. Since you are only 9 days post op, it is WAY too soon to tell how good your vision is going to get. It can take about 6 months for your vision to stabalize. ... (6 replies)
... Hi all. Wanted to share / get feedback on my Lasik experiences; I had Custom All-Laser Lasik 8 days ago; The procedure itself was uneventful, and painful. I had 'mapping' performed one week prior to surgery, and had stopped wearing contacts 3 weeks prior to that. My vision prior to lasik was -5.25 (I believe thats greater than 20/400 , not sure), with a slight, uncorrected... (6 replies)

... Well folks; Had my second Post-Op this morning. Left eye still blurry, but I think it's getting better, dryer than the right, which I'm sure contributes to the blurriness and less sharp vision. Nonetheless, the technician measured my eyes before I saw the doctor (and it didn't seem like she measured below 20/20, which he said they often don't, depending on the person.... (6 replies)
... Thank you for the response, DollBaby :). Oh believe me, if this is the worst it ends up, as I stated above, look at what it compares to. Yes, with contacts, it may have been a bit clearer, but it sounds like there are good odds it will get beeter. A Co-Worker of mine had a very similiar experience, one eye sharp, the other not as clear and blurry. After a month or 2, it... (6 replies)
... I have an eye drop recommendation for you. I am about 2 years and nearly 5 months post op and suffer from first thing in the morning eye dryness. ... (9 replies)
... Hey everyone I'm really frustrated right now, and need some of your help to know if anyone has had similar occurrences post lasik, and I'll try to keep this as short as possible. Basically I play soccer and I am a Goalkeeper so my vision is absolutely vital to the position. ... (0 replies)
... I'm 2 weeks post-op all laser Lasik, mono vision, & everything was great until 36 hrs ago. My vision was 20/20 1st week post-op, now all of a sudden, my distance eye is greatly decreased, words are blurry, some double vision, & pain, feels like pressure behind my eye. Called my MD, have appt this Tues, but getting freaked out, driving is quite a challenge. Any ideas why the... (6 replies)

... ld have done that. I guess the only thing I could do at this point is go on emergency family medical leave! It's incredible to me the dichotomy of symptoms and results that different people encounter following this surgery. ... (9 replies)
... GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO HEAL!!! I went through very similar experiences post-op. Definitely not the next day 20/20 dream they all advertise! And yeah, at 9 days post-op, I really regretted my decicision to get surgery, because my vision was AWFUL!!! ****HOWEVER**** Here's what they don't tell you! It takes at LEAST 2 months for your eyes to heal and your vision to... (14 replies)

... Congrats on your great results! It's so good to hear people who are happy with the procedure, since mostly people whom have had negative experiences are the most vocal. I had Wavefront LASIK done two months ago. I, too, tried to maintain modest expectations. I'm THRILLED though. My vision went from 20/800 to 20/15. I hardly use eye drops at all, now, but forced myself... (4 replies)
... TEARS, TEARS, TEARS!!!! Use those artificial tears whether you think you need them or not!!! Most of the time, if you're experiencing bad results after Lasik, it's because your eyes are dry. They might not feel dry, but chances are, they're very dry, which causes blurriness and pain! ... (7 replies)
