... idate for lasik, meaning your prescription is relatively low, no astigmatism, perfect corneas, etc...you do not need much expertise. like my doctor told me, the lasik procedure is relatively easy because the laser does all the work. i know many people who had great results with low budget lasik centers. ... ... Thanks for the update! I am now on day 12 after the operation. My right eye which has the EPMD is still blurry, but it is improving. There is a noticeable difference day to day, each morning I wake up and am able to read a little bit better. Hopeful that everything will be back to normal in a few weeks. (4 replies)

I certainly had the scratchy eye feeling- make sure you don't rub them and ask your optometrist for some preservative free drops- that should help.
