... Just to add my 2cents worth, I've had both eyes undergo PRK (much more 'brutal' then basic Lasik) about a 18 months ago. My pre-surgery vision was quite poor: legally blind at -9.5 diopter in both. After a year, had to go back and tweak the left eye (yes, PRK again), which is now 20/15!
