... Your eyes are definitely still healing, and will for a few months. I had lasik back in September, and my eyes still fluctuate and feel dry on some days. Best thing I ever did though. ... (5 replies)
... I thought this might be a fun thread--what habits do you still have from your pre-LASIK days? What new things are you discovering? any funny stories? I keep poking myself in the nose trying to push up non-existant glasses. Also, I use the supermarket reading glasses for reading in bed and now I accidentally seem to grab them for my midnight bathroom trips! I am loving... (2 replies)
... P.S. To answer your question about rubbing your eyes, this is actually kind of hard for me. In the shower after I wash my face, I've been very lightly rubbing the water away before opening my eyes. ... (23 replies)

... This sounds like good news to me. I had mine done almost 3 weeks ago and i am very frustrated most of all than anything else. My vision was good a week after but now is starting to be blurry all the time. ... (9 replies)

... Scion, Congrats! It is good to hear from you again! I am glad to hear that you are doing so well. I am going on 1 year and 10 months since my surgery. I am still suffering from dry eye but, not nearly as bad as it was in the beginning. Not even as bad as it was a month ago. Most of my problem is in the morning, like yours. But, I just use a couple drops before I even... (2 replies)
... Hey, I had the femtoLASIK surgery four days ago and have very similar experience, being able to see better with my left eye. It seems the left eye to be generally better suited for the operation or something as most people seems to have a better result with their left eye. It is annoying though having the brain use mostly the left eye, I keep closing one eye at a time in turns... (18 replies)
... Hi I'm new to this board, I had custom wavefront surgery 7/8/11. I'm really worried something is wrong. I had a high prescription -8.5 R eye - 7.5 L eye. According to the surgeron my surgery went well, no pain or discomfort at all. Although my vision was very blurry right after my surgery (like I had glasses on and they fogged up in a steamy shower) My post op appt next... (0 replies)
... Up to now my eyes have been super dry and yesterday (Monday) was my first day back to work. I work on a computer all day. It was a little difficult for me to work yesterday bc of the dryness. Today is much better and I can tell I'm already less dependent on the lubrication drops, although I am still taking them about once and hour just because I believe it will aid in the... (3 replies)
... if you get it in there. It really isn't that difficult to keep it out of your eyes. Just be careful. I think that you are allowed to wear eye makeup one week after your surgery. If memory serves which it usually doesn't...hehehe! ... (25 replies)
... Many people experience regression, some after years. Your eyes would have gotten worse anyway with or without lasik. ... (7 replies)
... I had my Lasik done on 10 Feb, so it's been around 11 days. ... (5 replies)
... I can take a shower without worrying about my contacts, I can get up in the middle of the night and see around my bedroom without having to stumble around trying to find my glasses. ... (14 replies)
... No need to apologize for a long reply. I look forward to them, as I know I'll be reading some good information. I was not at all prepared for this, as we were all expecting LASIK. The PRK was sprung on me that day just a few hours before the procedure. I had absolutely no information on it at all. As for the soreness, I really haven't experience that. And I work on a...
