Well i'm not positive, but I was reading about the retina, and I guess the pressure that is applied to the eye when they first have the vaccuum on the eye to do lasik (then things go black for a few minutes when this ring is on the eye), can cause pressure on the retina in the back of the eye. TLC or Lasik?

... If I had to get lasik all over again, I would find the absolute best surgeon in the city/county/state, no matter what the cost. Personally, if I had it to do all over again, I just wouldn't get surgery period. I know people who are satisfied. I'm not. A "special" limited-time offer contributed to me getting surgery sooner than I would have. It pains me now to see people... (4 replies)
... I was undecided but then after exhaustive research, I came to the conclusion: Definitely DON'T DO LASIK! Lasik, a type of cosmetic surgery, permanently thins out your cornea, and weakens it, and may put you at risk for ectasia, not to mention leaving a flap that mostly does not heal.
